Meet Your Teachers
Nicole is a mother of three young children, and has recently begun her homeschool journey! She has been married to her husband Steven Clary for 9 years. Both she and her husband are Aggies. Nicole holds a bachelors and masters degree in special education. Her passion is teaching her children about God and his many blessings and how we are to use our days to glorify Him in all that we do!
Explorers (ages 3-5)
Lilly is a homeschool mom to 7 children. She has homeschooled her children for 9 years. Lilly prefers the title of life educator as she believes that education extends beyond the classroom. She has a passion for instilling God’s truth into the minds and hearts of young children.
Gloria is originally from Italy and has a BS in Biochemistry, a MS in Immunology and a PhD in Molecular Oncology.
She worked as a Cancer Researcher for 25 years, around the world and left the Research Filed in 2016 to move to Texas. She cares of her son, Joshua, and assists her husband Patrick in the building of their HVAC company. Gloria exclaims, "I love teaching: I particularly cherish to watch the wonder of young minds when exposed to the mysteries of science and biology."
She and her family are members of Cornerstone OPC in Houston (Pastor: Todd Bordow) and hope to glorify the Lord in everything we do.
Crocheting (Grammar Elective)
Vanessa is a homeschooling mom of two lovely girls. She has a BS degree in Early Childhood Education, and MA degree in Special Education and taught Elementary grades for 13 years. She believes anyone can bring out unbelievable things in children if one instills love of the word of God which is the source of all things beautiful! Vanessa's family participated in Soli Deo Gloria School in the past and is excited to take on a teaching position!
Janice is the Administrator of Soli Deo Gloria School and has home schooled her five children for 10 years. A former middle school teacher, she loves encouraging young people to become leaders and develop their gifts. She is married to Pastor Aaron, has a BA in Christian Ministry from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, is committed to classical education and is an advocate for Christians reclaiming the arts! She is also author of the blog Broccoli for Breakfast.
4-H Club Manager
Patricia Hill is a mother of five, homemaker and a graduate from San Jose Christian College with a major in Theology and minor in Christian Education. She also holds a certificate in Biblical Counseling as well as being an Herb Specialist. Her passion in this life is loving God and enjoying Him, which extends into both her family and community. She has been married to Troy Hill for 25+ years and helpmate to him. She has been a mother since 1993 and began homeschooling in 1999. She homeschooled all of her children.
Jerry graduated from Texas A&M in 1987 with a BS in electrical engineering, and has worked for Bell Helicopter, Lockheed Martin, JP Morgan Chase, and a variety of smaller companies, having shifted to software development in 1993. He has been married to Melissa for 20 years and helps with the math part of homeschooling their two boys. Jerry loves the way that God has revealed His majesty in the beauty of numbers, and looks forward to sharing that with students this fall.
